So how much sleep did YOU get last night?
I think I managed about 2-1/2 hours.
I've never been so happily tired, except for the hours after giving birth, perhaps!

:D

3. I got about 3 hours
Stayed at work until almost 1 a.m., I think. Then came home and was so wired I couldn't sit still.

Slept with the tee vee on, so that was the first thing I heard this morning...

I'm still wired, though...

5. 4 hours
Mrs. Kay and I went to bed about 2 am, with the good guys ahead in Missouri, Montana, Virginia. This after nail-biting results on CNN a couple hours earlier, where I was sure we'd lost Virginia, and thus any chance of the Senate.

Woke up at 6 am (one hour early), refreshed cnn.com, Missouri had been called. Woo-hoo!

Went back to bed for an hour, didn't have the heart to wake her up with the good news.

6. I confess. I crashed. However, I thought I would be asleep until, like 4 pm,
I managed to get back up after 8 hours. That's something for me, considering how wiped I expected to be. Go, adrenaline!

9. 7 hours.
Of course, I got almost no sleep the night before (went to bed at 11, but couldn't sleep at all until 1 and crappily until 5:30, when I had to be up), and I was at the election night party until after midnight. I got about 7 hours -- not enough, but I'll take it.

10. None, seriously.
I'm too excited to sleep. I didn't have to work b/c I used some vacation time.

The wife and I celebrated with a bottle of Dom P we were given as a gift. We figured last night was a good time to crack it open.

I went to bed when things were undecided, toss, turn, toss the one time I know I was asleep I must have been snoring, because Marshmallow poked me to turn over.
I sat up wide awake at 3:53 this a.m. layed back down dozed tossed turned.
This morning i get the good news, scared the cats scared the neighborhood when I went on the porch and shouted wooh at the top of my lungs.
I've been running on reefer, caffiene, endorphins, I'm so keyed right now when I crash it's going to be hard.

Try not to get too excited, we can't have you making yourself worse! We've got 2008 to ramp up for, y'know.

I just got my "Coleman- you're next!" bumper sticker and put it on my van. My Mom has a program for making bumper stickers and she LOVES to use it. She made one for her car too, and a "mission accomplished" one as well.

49. Perhaps five and a half hours.
I had some work to do and didn't allow myself to check returns until it was nearly midnight. To tell the truth, I was so fearful that the optimistic predictions wouldn't come true. So when I finally checked DU, I had to turn on the TV for the victory speeches from my new governor and lieutenant governor, plus the Dems down in DC, and by then I was so excited I couldn't go to bed without e-mailing a few people first -- that and dancing around the living room a bit. :bounce:
