Follow-up to my potential Ebay Scam
I contacted the seller about the validity of the auction and the customer assured me it was a real auction and the item was being shipped out that day. So I let it slide stating that I wanted a tracking number in 24hrs to confirm the shipment.

I got the tracking number and yesterday the package was shipped. Today I opened the box and the item was in there exactly as described.

It was a bit of a risk with the auction, but it ended up being legitimate. However, in the future I probably will avoid "second Chance Auctions". I'm still not sure why a copy of that auction was not in my Ebay inbox (that is the method to determine if it's real or not - this one only came to my regular email) but the auction transaction was completed.
