I suppose it's a stupid question to ask what I missed...
...while I was out-of-town on business today?

I saw on CNN at the airport that Rumsfeld resigned.

...Wonderful news!

Before I forget in all the excitement...thanks to all for your help, advice and encouragement about my meeting with the executives. It went very well. I had to speak in front of a group of 400 people...except for a glitch with the mic, I think it went well.

I sure missed this place today....am I too late for the party?

 :woohoo:

2. Thanks!
It was hard for me not to watch the results this morning....and be here for the day....but I was really busy. I'm now watching MSNBC....Keith Olbermann is smiling from ear-to-ear. Bush is totally rattled...it's almost scary. Hey, I'm only going to think about the good things right now...and what a wonderful new beginning toward change we have before us!

The people have spoken!!

:toast:

6. Well, I won't get into Texas politics...
...let me just say quickly I don't know how so many people could pass up a candidate so clearly qualified as Chris Bell for Governor. :-(

OMG! Did I just hear on KO that Rush said he lied? :wtf:

This all seems so very surreal after only 3 hrs. sleep and being awake for about 20 hours....
I think I'm going on adrenaline! :hi:

7. I didn't hear much about Texas's races....
damn, I dont even know the results for our local races yet...I know our Dem Can running for prosecuting attorney won, other than that...I have to wait until the paper comes out tomorrow to see the final local results...we had a lot of races locally. I know both our state reps running the dem ticket lost big time...
