So there's this cat that always comes by my apartment, about twice a week. I'm not very familiar with cats- more of a dog person. He's very friendly and he will roll over on his back and let me scratch his stomach for him. My apartment does not allow pets so he can't come inside. I always have a lot of canned tuna fish so I give him a can and he makes this weird guttural sound and then dives for it. He finishes the tuna and then walks away from me, to other apartments in my complex to beg for more food. This cat is using me. :)He's not underweight either- if anything maybe even a little overweight. But he comes twice a week, and those two days he comes are almost always Mondays and Thursdays for some reason, and I give him tuna. There seem to be a few strays around, but this one knows exactly which apartment I am in and sometimes when I pull up to my parking spot in front of my apartment, he is out there sitting in my lawn chair on my porch. I get the tuna for him, he eats it, then leaves. I think even if I was allowed a pet that he's not mthe kind of cat to be cooped up in an apartment.

but maybe you could fashion some kind of shelter for him outside...an upside down box with a hole just big enough for him to get through with an old blanket or towels (or hay if you could find some).

3. Is he white with a small black mark on his head? |
|
Sounds like my cat's modus operandi.

8. Many years ago, I had a cat that left for days at a time |
|
He and the others in my home were well taken care of. Then one day a neighbor down the street came over and said he had moved in with them and was it ok.
They are amazing creatures. You are blessed with his presence.
Make a little shelter for him. He'll bring you joy.
