Kevin Federline has responded to his estranged wife's divorce petition.

Federline is asking for legal and physical custody of the couple's children. Sources tell TMZ that Federline will fight Spears on the custody issue. In the response, obtained by TMZ, Federline is asking the judge to award Spears visitation.

Federline is also asking the court to award him spousal support.

Female and male single parents of the Lounge--don't flame me, please. I think we all know who should get custody here and in any similar situation. However, while I'm still really, (REALLY) pulling for Britney as a mom, um, well, er...

I have this bad feeling that in punishment for the revocation of his meal ticket, K-Fed will try to get nasty. The Sean-Preston-in-the-lap incident is only one of several that could be construed as Britney being negligent...not that the "father" in this situation has a leg to stand on in that department, but still. This might turn into the celebrity divorce of the decade.
