25. A thought on pasta
Edited on Thu Nov-09-06 10:57 PM by fortyfeetunder
I learned how to make it from scratch with semolina. I like homemade over the store bought because you can eat less of it -- and be fuller than a tick that's been drinking from a dog too long.

29. Depends on the dish. Unless you are asking, "Which would you rather eat
without any topping, sauce, or addition whatsoever".

Please, define your terms and the intent of this poll.

31. Pasta can more easily stand by itself.
I like rice, although usually it has a "partner" for me to derive sufficient satisfaction - for example, chow mein.

38. Rice. Brown. With veggies and tofu.
But a local vegetarian restaurant serves the so-called forbidden black rice. It looks purple when it's cooked, and that stuff is like crack to me. I wish more restaurants offered brown rice.
