:hi: This is my newest. I've already posted it in another thread, but it's the absolute newest DU-safe photo of me. ;) I took it Tuesday afternoon when I was at a professional conference and getting ready to go out. The lighting's terrible, but you get the idea.

And as I mentioned in the other thread, those are my vintage suede ankle boots from 1982. I bought them new, and they've held up really well over the years. I think the fact that they were Made in the USA has something to do with it. :P I used to wear them to concerts a lot during the New Wave era (along with zebra stripe shirts and hot pink Lycra Spandex pants.... :P).

my grandma died from breast cancer 6 years ago. A family friend died of breast cancer last year. Then last year a friend's wife got diagnosed with breast cancer, got a double mastectomy, was undergoing treatment and her insurance got discontinued (because she hadn't worked in 3 months). So I had 2 in memory of and 1 in celebration of on my back.
