Seriously, you must see this film. It's one hell of a statement about war and its ravages, physical and mental, as well as the power of propaganda, and the effects of fame on those absolutely unwilling to bear its burdens.

Clint Eastwood has been very adamant that this is an antiwar film, and this coming January, he will release a film which tells the story from the perspective of the Japanese soldiers of Iwo Jima.
