14. My favorite Curly line:
"I crap bigger than you."

So long, Jack. You'll be missed.

4. Born in 1919; same year as my mother. Sad. RIP, Jack. Sorry to hear this.
Mom died in 1991. Jack lasted fifteen years longer than my mother did.

23. Right. I wish both of my folks had taken better care of themselves.
They both smoked, which was the biggest factor, I believe.

It's been pretty lonely without them.

BTW, this was the week they were both born. Mom on November 9, 1919, and Dad on November 11, 1911. I'm burning a little candle in their honor during these three days. I do it ever year. No one else remembers them, because I'm an only child.

6. He seemed like he would live forever, didn't he?
Remember this moment?

When Jack Palance won the best supporting actor award
in 1991 for his role in "City Slickers," he demonstrated
his virility by performing one-armed pushups on stage

8. I hate to say it, but my favorite Jack Palance role...
Edited on Fri Nov-10-06 05:28 PM by Left Is Write
was as host of Ripley's Believe It Or Not.

I loved the way he delivered that line.
