This is the THIRD time that Jack Palance has died! |
|
I distinctly recall two reports, separated in time, within the last four or five years, of Jack's death.
I also remember years ago hearing on the radio that Yaphet Koto had died. Then, about a year after that he was in a new movie. He had not died after all.
I am telling you that someone is seriously fucking with the space-time-continuum.
Has anyone else had this experience?

3. When William Styron Died, |
|
Edited on Sat Nov-11-06 01:29 AM by Thegonagle
I could have sworn he had died several years earlier.
I also heard that Frank Sinatra died long before it actually happened, but it turnd out that someone at the tv station just played the wrong tape. They had meant to play the pre-taped death story of some other really old celeb.
edit: Typo (has to had)

I could look up the exact dates, but I won't. Anyway, one Saturday in 1987 or thereabouts, the local TV guide announced there would be two Yul Brynner movies playing on the Wednesday of the coming week, and two Orson Welles movies playing on the Thursday.
Well, on Monday, Yul Brynner died. On Tuesday Orson Welles died. It was as if the TV guide had somehow predicted it. Creepy.
Edited to add: it was October of 1985. And it seems they died the same day. So much for memory!

He played a Viet Nam veteran that had a war flashback and went crazy. That was cool.
