I just went over there and it looks like a whole bunch of videos. Is there more to it than that?

They had some hysterical kitty videos.

2. You nailed it...
It's a bunch of videos... interlinked, grouped by theme, rated, commented on, but the basis of it is a place to post videos. They recently got bought by Google, so there's been more censorship of copyrighted material than there previously was.
