It's an acquired taste. I love me some gin and tonics.

4. All right...was it shaken or stirred? |
|
Edited on Sat Nov-11-06 04:57 PM by terrya
I HAD to ask. :-)
I'm a big fan of chocolate martinis. Not the same, of course, as the original. But quite tasty.

6. Look at me, do I look like I give a damn? |

OK, I stole that line from the new Bond...James Bond.
Actually, shaken.

10. So...is it worth seeing? |
|
I know it's NOTHING like the original "Casino Royale" (thank God. The best part of that whole train wreck of a movie was the Burt Bachrach score). I'm just puzzled at the contradiction of how this is supposed to be how James Bond got his "007" license, right? And yet Judi Dench is "M".

14. Well, I haven't seen it. |
|
I heard that from a friend who heard that line on a trailer for the new film...LOL
To be honest, in my opinion this looks like the first Bond flick that I am interested in seeing in quite some time. I never saw the original "Casino Royale" but I know the soundtrack like the back of my hand. It's some of the earliest music I remember hearing.

7. There's no such thing as a vodka martini. |
|
There's a vodka "martini," but not a vodka martini. ;-)

LOL, yeah, I know.. but it makes me sound like I have a little class to say martini rather than.."hey, I'm drinkin' some cold vodka with some olive juice in a fancy glass".

It can be..
I like both, but I like vermouth with my gin for a martini, I just don't wanna spend money on a bottle of that rubbish just for a few martinis a year. :)

20. The local ABC store has vermouth in airline bottles |
|
That's the perfect solution for anyone who isn't a major martini drinker--one airline bottle of vermouth will last you about six months if you're not drinking martinis every night.
