I'm not really new to DU...have been around for several yrs but just registered for the elections and wanted to say hi & join the group if possible. Since I moved from LA to a totally red state, I've been so depressed and lonely... I could really use some like- minded friends.

I figured I would post this here since it's an active thread...sorry for my ignorance, but, could someone please tell me how to post pics? I read the DU help thing, and it said to post a url for images? I don't have a url on personal pics. So that doesn't work and neither does copy and paste. I hope to start the next day! But I have travel planned 11/30 - 12/4, so they may not want me to start until 12/5. I hope that's not the case. I can learn what I need to know in ten days, before I leave, don't you think?

I sure do like the location, though. Chinatown. Never been there until I interviewed. Their offices are only 18 mos old. The workstations are spacious. Everyone dresses well. And on the day of my first interview, I ran into an old friend who left my former workplace 3 years ago. He gave me a big hug and told the hr director, "Hire this woman immediately." :D
