Two old biddies.... that's who showed up!
My daughter, my sons and I cleaned this house for seven freakin' hours to get it ready for the showing. It turns out that they were late and so I was at home when they finally showed up. It was two elderly women!!!! Who apparently had nothing better to do on a Saturday morning than go through one of the "big" houses. I am SO PISSED OFF. AND my car died, as I was expecting. On a happier note, my husband is out for the night, so I have heat and lights!! Yipp-fucking-eee.

I hope you're all well :hi:

1. So where did you bury them?
Damn - that sounds truly irritating. I'm going to have another drink, entirely to express my sympathy for you...

:hi:

2. Damn, petronius!
That's what I call compassion :) Pour one for me too, while you're at it. I've got to pick up my daughter later on so I'm not going to imbibe.

6. I hope it's not light.
That'd just be cruel.

11. Well, first of all I would squint blearily at the screen for a while to make
sure that I was seeing what I thought I was seeing, then I would get distracted by the TV for a while, look back at the screen and get indignant, struggle up out of the chair (that might take a while), stagger around the room, head out the kitchen for a snack, come back to the computer, forget what I was doing, and think about how much I like all the cool people in the Lounge.

So there: don't mess with me!

:toast:

12. You sonofabitch!
(see, I really would enjoy watching you stagger and mumble to yourself. I'm simple that way)

13. Hey, nobody said anything about mumbling
Ya gotta pay extra for mumbling. As for staggering, you've already missed quite a show - and there's more on the way!

15. OK - there may be a little mumbling
But it will be coherent, insightful, eloquent, and chock-full of hard-earned wisdom!

3. Did your Realtor not prequalify them as serious buyers?
I sold a house a tad more than six months ago and my Realtor made certain they were serious buyers before bringing them in. The house sold in less than a week.

5. We have made the request that she does,
but when other realtors show the place it's hard to get them to comply, apparently. The house has been on the market for seven-ish months, which isn't good. But it isn't the kind of house which sells in a week. Not in Bangor, anyway!

7. My Realtor ALWAYS came to showings....
Other houses in the neighborhood were for sale for much longer. My house had tons of curb appeal.

9. Curb appeal. That's one thing ours seriously lacks,
IMO. But it's a matter of the style/architecture... a colonial surrounded by Victorian beauties... and the fact that the entire front lawn is shaded by oak trees. Inside the house it's beautiful, but you have to get inside to see that!
