In fact, here on DU is where I've received the most compliments. If you saw my normal, unsmiling face, you probably wouldn't think it was the same person since my face literally grows 2-3 times its size when I smile.

But I've never worn braces. :D

I should have known, but I was mesmerized by those bright eyes. Jack is adorable and sitting on my foot, LOL. But I'm also grateful that I'll finally have a pet for 20 years. And I have an agreement with my vet, who has treated all of my guys, that Meneken is immortal. :-)

62. Thanks for the compliment, my friend, but I never post pix of myself on DU,

only my guys, but thought you'd like to see all of us. I know that DU is heavily freeped. But the only way that I could manage a pic of my two little guys together was for me to be in the middle. They aren't friends yet. *sigh* It's on my friend's boat, as Meneken's winning pic was, and which they both loved. My vet said that things will improve, in time, when Jack is no longer such a puppy, but Meneken has lost three sisters, my beloved Sara last March, so has been through a rough time. I adopt older dogs, from rescue. Meneken was nine and we've been together for four years. But my guys always find me and Jack was only five months old and such a sweet little guy that I couldn't resist him, despite his young age. A vet tech, who used to work for my vet, was fostering him, remembered Meneken and contacted me. Brussels Griffons are unheard of, in rescue, so I now have two.:loveya:

63. Speaking of knockouts, the only reason that I entered Meneken was that my best friend's handsome cat

won last month. He's also rescue, became homeless when his doting owner was deployed to Iraq. We told everyone that he was a most patriotic cat. *sigh* My friend is LoveMyCali, on DU. :-)
