A List of Celebrities I've Seen in my Neighborhood Over the Last 5 Yrs.

I live in a subsidized housing project in the West Village in NYC. Here's a list of celebs that I've seen in my neighborhood over the last five years or so.

1. Um, I live in Hollywood.

You have to dodge them constantly, in fact. :P

But, I haven't seen Jon or Jake...

4. I see Courtney Loves dad sometimes.

She grew up a few blocks from us (as did Jim Morrison, but no remaining family). Her dad is a nut job w/ pit bulls - in Los Altos!

5. Not much here in Minnesota lately

I saw Garrison Keilor in my parking garage ten years ago, but nothing recently. Meryl Streep and Lindsay Lohan were filming "Prairie Home Companion" a few blocks from my home this past summer, but I never saw them.

Arnold Schwarzenegger filmed "Jingle All the Way" in my neighborhood as well. There is scene near the end of the movie when he is wearing a jet pack and veers off of a parade on Wabasha Street and flies right by the window of my house. Does that count?

If I want to really get personal, I actually met a butt load of celebrities twenty years ago when I lived in Hollywood. I met (in person) Bea Arthur, Betty White, Jonathan Frakes, Delta Burke, Walter Mattheau, Jimmy Stewart, Rich Little, Monty Hall, Susan Blakely, Denise Crosby, Brent Spiner, even more I barely recall and my old boss Hugh O'Brien.

When I lived in Hawaii I saw Tom Selleck filming "Magnum, P.I." the very first day I was there. I also went to school with quite a few people who made cameos on that series.

Your list is more impressive than mine.

live in my neighbor. I also have the COunty's Democratic Chairman. But neither is famous

who looked freakishly like Marcus Schenkenberg at the Starbucks in Malibu last night.



I'm fairly certain it was him, but well, I was kinda distracted by the hotness...
