Colin, Ryan, Brad, Greg and Chip who were all part of the original English cast? I think the American version is just as funny, and in many cases funnier than the original. I do miss Tony Slattery, but that's about it. I could do without Drew though.

I've always thought the American version was just as good as the British, and frequently better.
To each his/her own, of course, but sometimes I get the impression that the "American version is just not funny" remark (especially since WLIIA frequently has the same actors doing the same skits on either show!) is one of those "code phrases", like "I don't own a television", "I don't read fantasy novels", and "I simply won't go to a Hollywood film".
Of course I am a horrible working class lowbrow. I freely admit it.

To me Wayne Brady is the most talented as far as making stuff up on the fly, but Colin and Ryan are strong too.

Can you imagine if Robin Williams & Wayne Brady were on the same stage? The set would probably explode.

16. Robin Williams DID guest star on one episode |
|
I can't remember if Wayne Brady was on that one or not; I do remember Colin and Ryan were. It was manic as one might expect, and while there were things that cracked me up as there always are, it wasn't quite as hilarious as I expected. Maybe I let my expectations get too high beforehand.

Who is underrated IMO. His antics during 'song titles' and 'questionable impressions' always have me rolling.
BTW, I voted for Colin.

Well, not really, but it was sad that she didn't have any votes, and apart from the musicians women don't get to show up there too often. My husband freaking loves her (or something).

not to mention HOT. But she doesn't strike me as having the improve skills of most of the others. But I'd be willing to change my mind - hey Drew, book Kathy more often!

|
Colin Mochrie and Wayne Brady (for his hilarious song parodies--is there anyone he can't imitate?)
In the British cast, I liked Tony Slattery, John Sessions, and Josie Lawrence. I also liked the British moderator better.

He was on Colin Quinn's show and is a liberal, but I think Wayne Brady's more talented. But Colin and Ryan are good too. Don't care for Drew, though.
