Woman charged with passing one-sided counterfeit bill

Today's lesson in counterfeiting: when printing a fake bill, print both sides.

A 21-year-old Cedar Grove woman is facing a felony charge after attempting to pass a one-sided $20 bill to buy chips and cigarettes at a Sheboygan gas station.

Leah R. Jarolimek, of 729 S. Main St., was identified after she handed the cashier the fake bill and her real driver's license to prove she was old enough to buy cigarettes, according to a complaint issued Friday in Sheboygan County Circuit Court.
