And if you are afraid of FFXII consuming your free time, don't ever play Oblivion for the Xbox 360 or PC. I'm 70 hours in to it already.

7. The combat system is different

When a friend of mine asked, I told her it was like the traditional active time battle system had a baby with the Kingdom Hearts battle sistem. And then this baby was raised by the World of Warcraft battle system.

It's weird when you first start out, but I enjoy it.

I've been completely out of the FF info loop. I thought FFX would be the last FF without gamers having to pay a subscription fee. :shrug:

But, I'm glad you're enjoying yourself because I can remember the good "old" days when I was feeding my FFX "addiction." :D

XI is the only one where you need a subscription because it's online.
