Learning from Mistakes: anyone ever do it?
LOL Just kidding. :D

Not about learning from mistakes. Especially in cases where the fault lies entirely or mostly with you.

1. Lock Your Keys in the Trunk
You only have to do that once. In a lifetime. It inoculates you from ever having to do it again. In fact, it makes you "key-aware" in just about every other situation.

2. The old saying, "Once burned, twice careful!" is my motto.
:) I've learned lots from lots of mistakes. It's kept me from repeating them. I still make plenty of mistakes, but they're fresh ones and not rehashed.

5. Well, this was a whopper!
:D

The good news is, however, that it could have been a lot worse, and the only pain that has endured is psychological. However, learning from mistakes and changing your behavior as a result can lead to not only less pain but also more gain. Win-win.

6. That's why I don't trust people who claim never to have screwed up

I've learned a whole heck of a lot in my life.

7. God I hope I do...
I just made a doozy. I may have ruined a friendship that was very special to me. I had better learn something.
