1. Only on weekends
I look upon this as a major chore and don't want to clutter up my evenings with it.

2. Thursday evenings.
It's the night I watch television, and it gives me something to do during the commercials.

11. Could you expand on that?

Your rate fluctuates with time and day? I have never heard of that. Do you know how your power is generated? Is this a common thing across the country? Weird.

edited -- to run the spell check. I forgot the first time.

It's cheaper here to consume energy during low-use periods, more expensive to consume energy during peak-use periods.

19. Strange.... I guess what makes me go hmmmmmm?
You must have super high tech meters. Ours just measure total output. They don't account for time of week the power is used.. We also get 90% of our power from the reservoirs. I think it might be easier to control power output with what we put through the dams. If we need less we put less water down the chutes.

7. usually Saturday morning....
It's just a habit-- I have a washer and dryer so I can do it anytime, and I occasionally do a weeknight load, like if a cat yaks on my sheets, but otherwise it's a Saturday AM tradition.

12. I don't do laundry
My husband claimed the washer and dryer as HIS some years ago. I don't interfere in things that are HIS.

16. I so despise doing laundry...
... plus I can only do it at my dad's house, because our dryer has been broken for the past two months. Anywho, I usually don't do it until I have literally nothing to wear except for what I am wearing at the time.

20. 3.
But I get a little fanatical about towels, etc. so I wash them everyday.

When I was single, I hung the towel up, not anymore.
