your prayers or vibes for his recovery. He was filling some type of pump, using propane and something ignited. He had to crawl out to the street. He has been air lifted to Boston General and is in critical condition.

Their boys have grown up with my second grandchild and they're very close. A wonderful, salt of the earth family.. .the best neighbors in our development.

I am so beside myself.

17. Get the neighbors together and donate blood in his name!
Burn victims need blood in order to survive. It would be a really nice thought if you all got together and donated in his name. He needs the blood right now and I believe he won't be charged as much for it if donated in his name.

Man seriously burned in Osterville
OSTERVILLE - A man was seriously burned in a freak accident in Osterville this morning. 44-year old David Ryan was apparently filling a portable pump on with gasoline on Bridge Street Monday morning when fumes ignited. He was rushed to Cape Cod Hospital after bad weather grounded Medflight and was then driven to a Boston hospital in critical condition. Posted on 12/13 at 12:00 PM.

25. How horrible!
My thoughts are with them! My FIL lost his sight and was severely burned over much of his body, in an explosion at an oil refinery that he worked at, just after he turned 21. He's 55, now, and has done some amazing things with his life. I'm hoping for the best-case scenario for your poor neighbor.
