Post a picture of something you are thankful for this Thanksgiving

I'm thankful for every cat in the world, of any species, breed or size.

(The older kid.) She's done a LOT for me in the last few months. I'm not sure how I would've made it through without her. :loveya:

My kids are about 3 years older than in that portrait. It took me about that long to finish it. LoL. Quick I am not.

25. You did an excellent job!
The parallels continue... I draw but never use color; or better said, I once drew until it became so frustrating as to send me into a depression. I don't draw any more. So how old exactly are the kids?

27. 9, 6, and 4
The youngest will be 5 in December.

And thanks for the compliment. I stopped drawing for awhile, but recently started up again. My writing has stopped entirely for the past couple of years (very frustrating).

37. No, he's just rotten!
I pin him down and squeeze him while he screams. I don't care, I have to have my fix every now and then! And where does a two-year-old learn to wipe kisses away? He does it without even thinking. Rotten, I say.

BTW, yours are precious, also!

42. Thanks!
My youngest son was like that for a while. Then he got to the stage where he'd spread his arms to hug me and his sister and he'd say, "I love the goyls!" Now he's just a lover though with a feisty side. Maybe your son will go through the same stages. I hope so; they're so much work and a mother's greatest reward is the smile and embrace of a happy child, IMHO.

We had a hard year, with my mom in her last terrible year of Alzheimer's disease and us not knowing where we were going to live when she passed on. With my family's help, we were able to buy her house, the one we've been living in for 27 years. Even though it'll just be me, my husband and four monkey-cats, we'll have a good Thanksgiving.

keep marching on with smiles on their faces. They make life worth living. For the memory of my dear life partner, who passed away last February. He was my rock. (I love you Jim). For my friends who astound me everyday with their kindness and compassion. My relatives who have helped me in the grieving process. For Jim's sister especially, who is now the sister I never had. For my brother's ex-girlfriend and children, for she is now my sister too and her children are intelligent, gentle people. And last but not least, the one who started this thread so we could share.
