AAAAAAAAAHHHHH! Very irritated right now.
I have to go to school and take a midterm and my car is dead again. It's just the bloody battery but I thought I'd fixed the problem by cleaning the terminals. Nope. Now I'm stuck at home on a horrible gloomy day. GRRRRRRRRR! I'm enough pissed off that I want to pour myself a drink. But I won't (it is Tuesday @ 10:33 a.m., after all.

It's time for me to have some good luck! In some aspect of my life. Just one... I'm not asking for much!

did you inform your instructor about this disaster? That always helps. If you need for me to write an excuse just let me know. Now take a few breaths relax and wait I am sending you some good luck, enjoy!

4. I did call my instructor and she's fine with it.
I also had to cancel my piano lesson for the second time in a row... last time I was sick. It's a wonder my teacher doesn't "fire" me. I said, "I know this is unbelievable," and she said, "Yes, it really is!" Okay, breathing deeply and feeling the luck... thanks!

6. I'm feeling it. Or maybe it's just the effect
of that nice picture you posted in the "thankful" thread. :)

7. My senior year at college, it was a daily ritual to go out and jump
someone's battery after all the cars sat in a cold parking lot all day. None of us could afford a new battery, so we all took turns. When I was first married, I had to gently remind my husband that now he had a good job and could actually afford to go out and buy a good battery!

8. I do remember those days.
Actually, in the early days of our marriage my husband, the kids and I decided to go on a road trip to Montreal. At the border on the way up, our car died and some kind person jumpstarted it. Alas, for the rest of the trip the car wouldn't start except with the aid of a thoughtful passerby. It was *one* of the worst vacations of our married life, and there have been a fair number of truly hellish trips. The honeymoon, for starters. Clearly I need a new battery and whether I can afford it or not, I'm getting it tonight.

11. Geez, thank you Whoa Nelly!
I've taken to sleeping with certain sentimental objects lately... a teddy bear my father gave me when I was four; my grandfather's favorite cap, and a figure of a jester handmade for my other grandfather. In case you're wondering where are the relics from the female side of my family... all the females are still living.

It's the first time in my life that I feel just engulfed in shit. On the one hand, I'm truly getting accustomed to the stench; on the other, I want OUT!

You're welcome anytime.

We can play the piano (have played since age 5), and just be silly to help lift off some of the shit weight in your life :pals:

If I would, I could! I haven't even been home in a couple of years (Oregon). Maybe some day I might surprise you though! :pals:

Moved back here to be near son and grandkids

But the Sierras are near, the ocean not far, and a ride up to Oregon would be fun....Road Trip!
