Do you know the worst way to wake up in the morning?
Well I'll tell you...it's to the sound of a chainsaw and a wood chipper just outside your bedroom window. Granted it was at 10 am but still I prefer a more peaceful wake-up call...and now my allergies are kicking up because tree dust and pollen has come up into my window. :argh: Normally I wouldn't have a window open this time of year but it's in the middle of November and in the mid-60's

1. Could be worse
Them chainsaws and wood chippers could be inside your bedroom. You know what I mean, Vern?

2. No, it's your drunken roommate ringing the doorbell incessantly at 5am...

Because he never bothers to take his house key with him when he goes out.

Or him yelling at you to get up and clean the dishes that you were supposed to clean the previous day when you actually did clean the dishes an the only thing even remotely close to a dirty dish is the tinfoil you forgot to throw out the night before after making nachos.

Woodchippers and chainsaws suck (I know this from experience) but they're nothing compared to living with dickheads.

3. Aww..
I used to have the worst wake-up calls when I worked the night shift.

Hope your allergies get better soon!

4. Nope.
The worst wake-up is the morning after a death of a loved one or a bad breakup, when you forget for one second what's wrong and then it all comes flooding back and you start crying before you even open your eyes.

Luckily, I have not had that morning in a long time. :)

5. Nope
Worst way to wake up is to the sound of "POLICE! OPEN THE DOOR OR WE'LL BREAK IT DOWN!" followed by the sound of splintering wood, many footsteps and the feeling of cold steel on your temple.

I'll take the chainsaw and the wood chipper any day.

8. I've been woken up by police already in the room.
No gun to my head, but one of my friends was screaming at the top of her lungs like they were there to kill her.

I'm trying to decide if that's worse than be dead tired when your kid comes in, says "Daddy, I'm sick..." and pukes all over you.

12. Worst wake-up I ever got....
was back when I was shuffling paperwork for the local soccer club. The league administator called me at 8am on a Saturday morning (after I had gotten home at 3am from a trip to Germany - 8 hours later than planned) to yell at me because our teams' player ID cards hadn't been properly laminated.
