I moved recently and was going through my old CDs, listening to one of my fave female singers ever, Beth Gibbons of Portishead. I don't know how many folks have heard of Portishead as they are an alt band from the UK, but they do have a strong following in the States. I wish they would make a lot more albums - the solo album was ok, but not as good as the three they did together. (well two and a live set).

BTW, does anyone know anything about allofmp3.com? I was reading on Wiki that Russia is being threatened with not getting into the WTO if they don't put a stop to the site.

Also, they say it is only legal in some countries, but won't specify which.

I was going to download from there, but reading that stuff kind of freaked me out, but .10 cents a song is amazing.

I have a friend who has filled her ipod with songs from there and it worries me a little for her after reading this.

Anyone know anything about it?
