10. The best of the best used to be ACTIFED...but because of meth heads it's off the market....

....can't even get it with a prescription!!! It was the only antihistamine that continued to work without building up a tolerance to it....for me anyway...Benedryl is useless after a while. :grr:

12. Tylenol Sinus (must register to get the real stuff these days) plus

strong coffee and standing under a hot shower with the water directed at your neck and head. Then go to the neighborhood Vietnamese restaurant and have some of that vegetable soup that's made with a tomato, pineapple, and chili pepper base.

13. Horseradish, and a neti pot

Trust me on the neti pot... I was 100% skeeved by this idea for years. After weeks of sinus headaches last month, I finally caved and bought one. The thing is a godsend, I swear. Google Jalaneti :)

For the moment, eat some horseradish, and microwave a wet washcloth and lie on the couch with the heated cloth on your sinuses, breathing the humidity if possible, too.

I have an aromatherapy pillow with lavender and some other stuff in it that helps. I hate sinus headaches - they make me feel like someone belted me in the nose with a large metal object.

16. Diagnosis...is it really sinus?

Dump any nutra sweet products for about 6 months...if you still get weather related "sinus" headaches, they are migraines and treatable with many things, including xtra strength Motrin, or Imitrex, or Zomig...etc.

Do not let the decongestant/antihistamine drug lords fool you.
