Truck Full Of Mice Confounds Police

DALLAS -- Dallas police officers and hazmat crews had a problem on their hands -- a truck full of live mice -- for several hours overnight and they weren't sure what to do about it.

An officer was originally called to an apartment complex on Maple Avenue to check out an abandoned truck.

The investigating officer found the truck to be full of live mice and called out the hazmat team.

While officers were determining a course of action, the truck's driver showed up and cleared up the mess.

The driver told officers that they were lab mice and were headed to University of Texas Southwestern Medical School.
