AHHHHH!!!

I love Cat Stevens' "Morning Has Broken" and I'm balling, it's such a lovely song. The lyrics and his voice. Why don't they make music like that anymore? :)

1. I am old enough to have been a hippy in the early 70's but never really
had the chance. Long story behind that.

I really like Cat Steven's songs.:hippie:

4. I'm kinda sorta hippieish still
The young uns at work find it impossible that I had long hair way back in the '70s let alone an afro!
Oh well, I'm an old kinda sorta hippie; still say cool and far-out and man.

5. I once met Cat Stevens' father...
It was my first time in London back in 1971, and I was in this sandwich shop getting lunch. The mailman came in with this pile of mail, and told the guy behind the counter that it was more for his son. I looked at the name on the envelope and it was Cat Stevens. And I have long been a fan.

So his father and I discussed his career for a bit, I had a decent lunch (cannot quite remember what I ate) and it was an interesting experience.

I also heard Cat (now Yussef Islam) interviewed today on NPR. It is great that he is at long last going back to the music he does so well.

9. If you are "balling" sounds like you are GETTING lucky!
I dunno how lucky you need to be, but a lot of guys would really be happy if they were "balling" right now...

I'm just sayin...
