I've just tasted Heaven.
Bought a bottle of pomegranate and cherry juice (from Turkey, of all places) the other day, and just had a drink of it a couple of minutes ago.

Excuse me while I go to the kitchen and drink the rest of it. Damn, it's good.

4. I'm hooked on the powdered stuff you put into water, I'm sure the fresh juice would be much better,
but have to watch the sugar.

6. We have this oddball store in town calle Ocean State Job Lot. You never know
what's going to turn up there, and if it's something you like, you need to buy all of it because they may never have it again. I love the place; I'm going back tomorrow to buy four or five cases of that juice.

17. It's nine bucks a quart at our local grocery store, but $3 at this oddball store.

Strangely, the straight pom juice comes from Tajikistan, but the blends from Turkey.

But hey, this is the kind of store where you can find jars of pickled baby corn from South Africa. Really.

7. No, I don't think we set a date. How about next Monday, the 20th? We could go to
the Cuckoo's Nest, where Mrs R and I go once a week for lunch, and set the rumors flying (Mrs R thinks that would be pretty funny if we did, by the way).

18. Well, if we had a REALLY LONG version of those pneumatic tubes they have
at the back drive-throughs, I'd send you a bottle of the stuff.

But we don't, so I can't. But I would if I could.

20. Pomegranates should be eaten in the same setting as that other famously-messy
food, artichoke leaves dipped in melted butter, should be eaten.

I'll not elaborate on setting, other to say that it makes the cleanup pretty easy. And enjoyable.

it is possible for making a mess to be a worthy endeavor.

24. i've been getting pomegranites 2 for a $1 at farmers market.
The kids are staining thier clothes but I don't care. They'll remember the pomegranites but never the clothes when they're adults.
