Zelnorm commercials always make me laugh out-loud..
Which "tragic side effects" are yoour drug commerical favorites
There's one ( forget which) that actually lists LYMPHOMA as a "possible side effect"... It's an allergy med, if I recall..
"um thanks anyway, I'll just buy some kleenex and sneeze a little"

1. No; Lymphoma is a Possibility with Remicade |
|
It's a treatment for certain inflammatory diseases (rheumatoid arthritis, Crohn's, etc). And with Crohn's, that kind of diarrhea isn't that uncommon.

3. What kills me is that the side effects are listed with a cheery voice... |
|
by the announcer, like you'd be crazy not to want to risk them. "Possible side effects of XYZ include nausea, rectal bleeding, coma, and death!" the announcer chirps, happily.

5. Sometimes they work, sometimes they don't. |

My son was on an anabolic steroid this past summer. First time in 3 years he actually started eating and gaining weight. Unfortunately the side effects are so crummy he could only be on the drug full strength for 2 weeks, then stepped down by dosages. His appetite vanished. I saw the steroid on a commercial last week directed at people with Crohn's. People need to be very careful. My son ended up having to have surgery.
