People should not drive with their brights if they can't use them
And so many people don't know how: driving up right behind you with them on, blinding you, approaching you on a rural road, blinding you....

1. What really annoys me...
is people who use their fog lights when there's not a fucking trace of fog. :grr:

2. Yeah, the idiots who don't seem to know what fog lamps are for are worse...
Edited on Wed Nov-15-06 08:09 AM by Spider Jerusalem
there are a lot more of them (seems like 70% of the people who have cars equipped with fog lamps leave them on ALL THE FUCKING TIME).

4. Most of the time, the high beams are just not needed
expecially if you keep your headlamps clean.

5. That's also true
I think some people are afraid to drive on certain roads if it's not totally daylight.

6. I definitely think some roads are dark and narrow enough to require high beams
but the minute I see another set of lights, I turn my high beams off. Just having another two lights on the road makes my high beams unnecessary (and possibly hazardous)

7. I ride about 10 miles of roads like that every morning
Usually in the dark... very twisty,, narrow roads... you can always see another car's highs coming.

The worst thing about using my high beams? Seeing a ll the deer RIGHT by the side of the road!

:scared:

8. The road I live on in like that.
Shitloads of deer. Shitloads of idiots that enjoy blinding me with their headlights.

9. Most of the drivers around here don't seem to have any
'brights' at all. Even the sober ones...
