Something is wrong with my 13-yr-old son.
He woke me up this morning with a kiss and an "I love you, Mom." I came downstairs to find he'd fed his younger brother a good breakfast. Then, just now, I walked past his bedroom. It is completely clean... the bed is made - well made! - and there are no clothes or wet towels on the floor. What the heck? Maybe he has a girlfriend. Hmmmm.

1. Uh oh
Could he possibly be feeling guilty about something? Hmmmmm, sorry I always suspect the worst.

4. And you are right to do so!
Although I think it might be what the poster below you suggests... he wants something big.

6. That's my guess. For the small items
he'll come over and run his fingers through my hair and say, "You're so pretty, Mama." But the making of the bed... putting the dirty laundry away... what could he have in mind?

13. well....he's still too young for a car...
Maybe one of those new game systems? a dirt bike? a computer?

Or possibly a report card coming that he's worried about? (Those are exactly the things I did when I was worried about a report card!)

15. You're good. He's been complaining about his bike,
and the computer he uses. He knows a game system is out of the question. Yes, you've got him pegged.

17. I had to ground him recently for not completing two assignments
in his science class. He went from an A grade to a C- grade which is very, very bad! I am going to ask him about that. Tonight.

24. I hope this is nothing serious and maybe he's just growing up,
but be sure he is feeling OK about everything. When you say his grades dropped, that's a flashing signal to me that something might be wrong. I'm a certified Grade A worrier because kids can be so stupid about life sometimes. Give him a hug from all of us.

20. Hold off on that.
The initial release for the PS3 has problems running some PS2 titles. I'd wait until after Xmas.
