My blood pressure must be HORRIBLE. |
|
I think it's about 18 over 3, right now.
I'm frickin' freezing, with long underwear beneath my clothes, and my hands and feet will be like ice for the next 4-6 months. It's not even really "cold" yet.
SophieMN is wandering around the house in a swimsuit, and she's perfectly fine.
I must be some kind of freak of nature. :scared:

Weird. Here in Brainerd, it's nearly 40...but it just feels so much colder than normal.
Gads...and just think what we get to look forward to!
Wish I had your b/p tho. I am always hot.

5. Aughh! You're further north than me! |
|
It DOES feel colder than the thirties, though, doesn't it? I hate all these physical adjustment stages our bodies seem to go through in the winter. I know in a few months it could be fifty degrees colder, and the idea makes me want to cry! I spent part of the afternoon plasti-sealing my windows!

My hands are icy right now, and like yours, they'll probably stay that way until late April or so. I'm always bundled up in sweatshirts, jackets, etc., during the winter. :(

6. I use the corpse hands as weapons. |

My husband wouldn't quit hogging the couch last night, so I crammed my icicle hands down his shirt, and he shrieked like a girl.

16. Yes it is; yesterday it was 88 here |
|
Tonight the low is supposed to be 49. Good sleeping weather but by you know it will be 85 on Thanksgiving. Somehow it doesn't put me in the holiday mood.

9. And you'll be spending the winter in Minnesota? |
|
I guess we won't be seeing any new pictures of you in a short skirt for about six months, more's the pity.

10. I bought myself a fleece thing. |
|
I have always been a natural fibers kind of person, and that and the low thermostat settings WRECKED my winters. But recently I got a LandsEnd fleece thang and it's CREEPY how warm it keeps me.

14. Ohhh.. that sounds perfect! |

I keep jumping in around in the hopes that moving a bit will warm me up, but it only lasts about five minutes, and my hands and feet flat out won't warm up.
