Am I too uptight if I don't want to go to a nude beach?
We have an area here that is fairly remote (although not too remote) where people do sunbathe (or swim or whatever) in the nude. I cannot bring myself to do that. I just can't. Plus it is illegal and you can get arrested for it, which would be REALLY embarrassing.

I just cannot do it. So I guess I am uptight. Plus the sunburn! Oh my God how painful would that be in areas that have not seen the sun ever!

1. Well, you might see a naked breast or two.
How do you feel about that?

4. Oh the horror!
But it isn't other people I mind- I just don't want them to see ME. I can't look at myself in the mirror- I avert my eyes.

5. But will you be breastfeeding?
Because that is a completely different issue.

And, FWIW, I'm totally with you on this. I couldn't imagine ever going to a nude beach. The world isn't ready for that.

2. Plus you have to look at all those naked people
which is usually a lot less charming than one first thinks.

Stick to your guns. Your modesty is just fine.

3. I don't think wanting to be covered makes you uptight
To each his/her own.

6. It's really more the public aspect to it
If it were so remote there was no possibility of other people, it might be a different thing.

Plus the cops like to drive by that area, not necessarily to arrest people, but in hope of ogling.
