It would help people get the fuck over seeing breasts being used for what they're meant for, instead of to advertise shit.

14. Mandatory? Mandatory to do or mandatory for businesses to allow? |
|
If the latter, there is one reason above all others: because this country needs to see breastfeeding NORMALIZED. I'm so sick of the Puritan attitudes about women offering comfort and nutrition through breastfeeding.
I will also say there is nothing weird about nursing a two-year-old. A two-year-old is certainly still young enough to be deriving comfort from the process as well as significant nutrition. Some two-year-olds have pacifiers or suck their thumbs. Some attach themselves to a blanket, stuffed animal, or other lovey.
My son self-weaned at 25 months and my daughter at age 3. They are almost 5 and 7 now and perfectly normal, well-adjusted children.

Making public breastfeeding mandatory could eventually save the health care system billions in shrink bills.

Think people, think. A nation of angry babies, as I'm told babies tend to become when they don't get their breast-milk-on-demand, would not be a good thing at all. Babies retaliate WITH A QUICKNESS. Ever been in a line at a grocery store where there is even one hungry baby that's gonna have to wait until Mom gets back to a semi-discreet area to eat? Peace and quiet is not what you get. Keep the babies happy. What's good for the hungry babies is good for us all.
