and thanks for posting.
We have all been so involved in politics, there have not been enough kitty pics for a long time.

5. He tries to lay on my arm while I type
or rests his head on my hand as it bounces up and down. Strange little meatloaf he is. I need to take a break from politics. 6 years of fighting, needed a break. Kitties perfect distraction.

9. Yup. Her dad was a big Maine Coon.
Her mom was a tiny black shorthaired cat, but she
really got all her looks from her dad.

24. I know.
He puts his whole head in there and insists on eating from the bottom of the bowl, which pushed all the other food out the sides. Why he can't eat from the TOP of the pile is beyond me. :eyes:

How many times a day do you think I'm out there with the damned dustpan and brush, or just my fingers, picking up cat food? Also, how many times have I stepped on sharp little pieces of dry cat food in bare feet?

I swear, if he wasn't so freaking cute, I'd drown him. :D

15. Is he a talker?
He looks like a Siamese to me. Siamese can usually hold their own conversations which I think is an endearing trait. :)

Manny is quite handsome as well. :)

17. I love chatty cats.
Every cat that I have ever come in contact with, I always encourage them to talk -- even though I know it may drive other people crazy. But, it's just something about felines trying to convey their cat feelings to humans that I find amusing. :)

By the way, do you have a pic of Meatloaf that you can post? I would love to see your champion talker cat. :)

19. the cat pack...
This is Byron, the brat prince of the house:

There he is again, reigning supreme lord of the cat tree.
The others below are Dorien (the spotted one), and Poe (the solid black one):

This is our newest arrival: Daniel striped tiger-tail

we have 5 feline family members... all rescue cats...
one of them, however, refuses to sit still long enough to be photographed.
He's a grey/white tux-patterned fellow named Eliot...
...but we all just call him Twiddle.

22. *another death from cute overload*
I love that kitten almost as much as i do my kids. We got him a month(ish) ago, on the day of my aunt-in-law's funeral, and he was at death's door, literally. His mom was feral, and sick... he was dying. The internal and external parasites were eating him alive. You'd never know it, though, from that first picture, but at that time he weighed less than 8 ounces (at roughly 5 weeks old).

It's taken a lot of work, and a lot of love, but he's more than quadrupled in size, and is our most affectionate by far.

30. He was a frightened homeless boy when we found him.
Someone dumped him near our house. After we got him to come in, he has been a huge love bunny insisting on curling up on either me or my SO.
