3. But video... the radio star... how do you feel about that?
Damn, my cat is drinking my greyhound. He's gonna die.

5. Once my cat, (Allen) Ginsberg, ate an entire joint.
He ended up spending hours in the corner in a vicious fight with some invisible creature. Now, he runs from the room at the slightest hint of marijuana smoke and he won't go near a bag of it. Just say no, Ginsberg. Just say no. Of course, he had to learn the hard way, so now he looks like this...

6. I am really laughing at that.
Ginsberg looks like he's seen it all and wishes he hadn't. What's that on the t.v. Now Benny, in an alcohol-induced frenzy, is chewing on an electrical cord. At least Ginsberg learns. Benny, no.

13. Honestly, I'm amazed Ginsberg hasn't electrocuted himself.
He chews on cords all the time, but never ones that are plugged in. I'm on like the fourth power cable for my iBook due to him. And I can't leave headphones out, because of him. He's worse than my rabbits when it comes to chewing on stuff.

On the flip-side, when he crosses the road to explore the woods across the street, as he likes those better than the ones surrounding the house, for some reason, he sits down and looks both ways before crossing the road. We don't have much traffic anyway though.

16. Mebbe your cat and mine ought to get together.
I've been slapping Benny away from the various cords surrounding me all day. He's chewed through two headset cords already. Little bastard.

17. They'd probably make good friends.
Ginsberg likes other cats, although he pisses off the others, because he's a hyperactive spazz.

21. In that case I'll introduce him to Maximouse.
Max hates Benny, but otherwise he's gregarious as hell, and king of the block.

25. Yes, NJ is indeed in the same time zone as Maine.
I'm pretty wide awake. Anyway, right now would just be last call if I was at a bar, so Dewar's it is.

And I'm not nearly as depressed as I normally am at 1:30 at the Sea Dog. So good for me!

27. The name of my place is Poor Herbie's. Sometimes afterwards I go to a "speakeasy" place.
It looks like a boarded-up storefront. "Members-only" and I'm friends with a member. There are no laws there. I love it.

14. I have no clue. He'll eat anything though.
He's like a dog in that way. He doesn't know cats are supposed to be picky eaters. Although, the German Shepherd we had did raise him, like he was her own puppy. Maybe that's where he learned to eat anything left out, edible or not.

(at three months)

He grew up handsome, though. (at three years)

He is as yet unaware of the transition and still buys VHS whenever he sees 'em.
