I just bought a 1984 Chrysler LeBaron convertible |
|
Am I dumb, or what?
I live in a small town/rural area and there were three cars for sale. I needed a car fast because the four that I have been using for the past number of years all died IN THE SAME WEEK.
I'm getting to like this old car. Call me crazy.
Who else likes old crappy cars?

1. No, I am NOT following you around. |

But I have to laugh at this post. When I was in college my grandparents promised me a car upon graduation. Thing is, I didn't get to pick it... they had selected the Chrysler convertible. Well, I graduated and waited quietly for my reward. In the mail came a diamond-laden watch. WTF?
Anyway, I own an eleven-yr-old Bonneville, which is old and certainly crappy. And I like it!

what a great old crappy car!
For those wondering:
I have an old Renault that died when the alternator went out. Apparently, sometime over the years, someone put in a different than original alternator complete with different thingies to hold it in, and I can't find a replacement.
I have a Chevy van that burned up on the way to visit my brother. I called, and a friend took my Ford to pick me up. A four inch hose burst, and that motor burned up.
I have a Honda that seems to want to run only on 3 out of 4 cylinders.
All in the same week.
So, I now love my car that is running. A 1984 LeBaron. Who would have ever imagined?
