Do you know this song?
HELP!

My wife keeps hearing this unidentified song at work off the dish system. I've heard it, but neither she nor I know the artist, or label. She really loves it. Since she asks so little and gives so much I'd thought surprise her and see if I find it.

DUer challenge using these meager clues:

Recent Adult Contemporary female singer, Lyrics like this "I can't conceal...all I know is what I feel and what I feel is something real...never going to find it..."

Anyone?

1. hey - we didn't know this last time
either...

I don't know. I got a different result this time than last time I googled (I didn't post then because I didn't find anything that hadn't been posted.)

Highly doubtful, but give it a listen:

2. I wish your wife liked more creative songs.
I mean, such poor lyrics with use of the "eel" sound. Why not an eel mentioned in the song? How about "teal?" What about "Surreal?" Deal? Kneel? Meal? Peal? Seal?

I think you get the point! }(

If you can't be civil don't respond. My wife was a classical musician (Oboe) and loves catchy simple songs now. She loves Mountain Dew, kittens and is a CPA (former a Manager for a huge CPA firm). Please refrain from sleights for no apparent reason other than self-entertainment.

5. Yup, it sounded like a Christine McVie tune.
I love the way she sings. And I'm actually glad she left that band... for her own sanity.
