There are some people on here who are really cool and really smart and really funny, whose posts I enjoy tremendously... and I (almost) never, ever respond to them. Not because I'm jealous (well, maybe) but because they're already so popular and receive so many replies, and I feel like I don't have anything original to add. And then too I think, sure it would be all friendly-like to reply, but geez... wouldn't it be more thoughtful to let them have the minute or so they would spend making a polite reply, to utilize as they wish in their real life?

So that's kind of how I think of you sometimes: I cherish your presence here, but realize that I am only one of so very many. Thus I think sometimes it is best to admire from the wings. So to hear you say you are flattered by my attention makes me giggle sorta. Because you receive a lot more of it than you realize!

I was a Mod in GD for a few terms in a row. Got totally worn out. Needed a break to be a regular ol' DU'er for a while, but I totally respect the hard (and volunteer) work that the Mods do.
