Show a DUer some love! (A thread of appreciation)

I think of DU as a type of family. Sometimes there's fighting and unpleasantness, but there's also lots of laughter and support.

Last New Year's when my dad was in the hospital, and I thought he might die, the outpouring of support I received on DU really helped. Thanks to all the DUers who reach out to people in pain.

And thanks to Midlo (my star angel) You rock.

71. I'd like to thank the DUers that were supportive

when I got dumped by my fiance and in the days leading up to it when she had admitted to taking another man's number. It did make a difference and helped me get through what I was going through. I also want to apologize to everybody here for flying off the handle on DU a couple of years ago when, ironically enough, the subject of that very same girlfriend came up. (I think I was the most hated man on DU in December of 2004!)
