4. I've narrowed down to five!
Blazing Saddles, Young Frankenstein, Silent Movie, Spaceballs, Robin Hood: Men in Tights, but I do enjoy Dracula: Dead and Loving It. Aw dammit.

I've narrowed it down to six! :7

10. Oh Master Robin!
You lost your arms in battle! But you grew some nice boobs.

We're men, We're men in tights
We roam around the forest looking for fights
We're men, We're men in tights
We rob from the rich and give to the poor
That's right!
We may look like sissies
But watch what you say
Or else we'll put out your lights
We're men, We're men in tights.

a bit darker in tone than his more commercial fare but I think it is definately one of his better films.

20. Five Votes for Spaceballs and not a one for The Producers?
I assume we're talking about the original Producers.........with one of the greatest comic scenes of all time taking up the first twenty minutes or so of the movie........

28. I voted for The Producers
I suspect a lot of folks haven't seen it. Zero Mostel and Gene Wilder were both at the top of their game and the movie is non-stop funny. The other movies have the advantage of making fun of other movies, which is easy to do. The Producers mines comedy gold from accounting practices. It should win more votes for the high difficulty factor alone. :D

23. I voted for Blazing Saddles, but only because it
was the first Mel Brooks movie I ever saw, and the element of surprise in his humor made me laugh until my face hurt! All the others are hilarious too, but I sort of knew what to expect after the first one (in the way of outrageous humor, that is.)

Hubby is the opposite and thinks Blazing Saddles is his best with a very close second: Young Frankenstein. Either way, they're great!

Hell, Patrick Stewart's one minute snark on Sean Connery's King Richard is funnier than most feature length commedies.

I can't stand that stuff. I have a great sense of humor, I love to laugh and I'm not generally all that picky about it, but where MB is concerned, I just don't see it.

I know, I'm the only one.

His stuff is just too dumb for me.
