7. martini glass?
What's to drinking a martini? You shove a few olives in your mouth and chug from the bottle. Glasses? We don't need no stinkin' glasses.

11. Back in my bartending days...
We had a few sayings:

"One martini, two martini, three martini...floor."

and

"Martinis are like a pair of breasts. One is not enough and three are too many."

I break martini glasses at home all the time. But never when drinking form them. I wonder why?

16. same here
i've never broken one drinking - i've broken one when i was done drinking and tried to pLace it on the counter... and my perception was a wee bit off.

the rest are usuaLLy when i'm cLeaning them. :(

both sayings are kinda accurate. i usuaLLy have that 3rd one on weekends.. and i go to that pLace i shouLd never go.

24. I got a martini set for christmas from my gf's brother and his wife.
Edited on Fri Nov-17-06 05:51 PM by Evoman
1)I NEVER drink.

2)I hate Martinis

3)I had elevated liver enzymes in my blood test, so my doc told me no drinking until they are normal.

I've only ever used them once to serve Chocolate maritinis to some guests. Except I make pretty shitty martinis I think.

Still...its a really nice set. I just keep them around for "looks"...they look good on my kitchen counter in their special ...uh..holder, I guess you would call it.

On edit: Kind of look like this (but a bit nicer):
