1. shameless kick
(No I'm not selling the greeting cards . . .) but I do "know" this dog and met the owner and she's really nice. And the dog IS really cute. You should see the tricks she does. lol.....

(heck no one's even looked at my posting even once!)

6. Mr. Winkle's breed is not none -- he's a rescued stray.
But, more wonderful pics and info about him can be found here: http://www.mrwinkle.com/home.htm :)

20. That's one beautiful cat!
Alas, I have no pets currently. The picture is one just picked up along the way around the 'web...it was too dramatic not to save.

But your pic above is magnificent!

22. thanks -
he knows it, too!

arrogant little kitty. He's started demanding fresh water in the sink when he wants a drink. . .

Of course that beats a cat I used to have who would ONLY drink water coming out of the tap. 3:00 in the morning - - meow meow meow - paw paw paw ( WAKE UP and turn on the water, dammit!!) I'd stumble to the bathroom, run the water while he drank, then go back to bed. He would NOT drink standing water. twit.

23. I have friends, whose 2 cats I would frequently take care of...
and standing orders were to immediately turn on bathroom faucet to dribble fresh cold water for the kitties, for the entirety of my time in the apartment (whether that was for hours or days.)
Still, we love them....

21. He got into the trash
and retrieved an ice cream carton.

On the website, I clicked the photo and used that link but the photo was way too big in DU. So, I used the smaller version on the webpage itself. Maybe this is just a FrontPage thing.

18. Gotta love the permanent puppy-dog look of these dogs!
The drool would be a hassle to deal with, but their sheer cuteness makes up for it. :)

25. This is Loretta. She was Dad's dog but he recently gave her to
my Nephew as Dad just can't care for her any longer. I think she is one of the most adorable dogs ever.

28. Yes, the name is fitting. Dad named his female dogs after
country singers. Before Loretta (Lynn) there was Dolly (Parton).

30. What a beautiful dog!!!
She is just stunning! I love shelties, and they are also the most intelligent, IMHO...:loveya:

Here are mine, who are also both much smarter than I'd like them to be, LOL. This is my favorite pic of Meneken, used it for a Christmas card, one year. When I first adopted him, my friend said she thought he resembled an Ewok, but I disagreed, said he looked more like a Furby, so I took this pic...

And here's Jack, one of his earliest pix, at five months...:loveya:

And here's my favorite pic of my sweet Sara, who I lost unexpectedly last March, after a horrific weekend spent at the Emergency Clinic. I loved the ribbons, which she got at the groomer, though they didn't last long...O8)

33. Thanks, I Don't Know About Stunning, But She Is A Cutie!
and that is all that saves her!

The most obnoxious, but playful little girl. She has a cow when I come home. She just goes nuts.
She also is the only sheltie that I've ever had that will actually chase a ball and fetch it.

She likes to lie down on the couch next to me and fall asleep when she isn't up running around finding things to chew up, or shred into a brazilian pieces ;)
