Bo's doctor says he may have died because of the excitement of the game
Oh my dear Lord...

ANN ARBOR, Mich. (AP) -- In the end, Michigan vs. Ohio State may have been too much for Bo Schembechler's failing heart.

The man with half-century-old roots to The Game died at age 77 Friday on the eve of perhaps the biggest matchup in the storied rivalry's history, No 1 vs. No. 2, and his doctor said it might have been because of all the excitement.

2. That IS sad -- my Dad and son-in-law were U. of Michigan graduates.
Somehow I've always felt connected to that school.

4. It's sad that someones passion and love for a sport...
..can actually contribute to death. I got a glimpse of that kind of stress during the last World Cup. The older I get, the more I understand this. The aging body doesn't handle stress the same way a 20-something does.

It's sad...really. :-(
