Okay, heterosexual couples can fondle each other in public... |

and nobody stares or beats them up.
Two homosexuals (especially if it's men because lesbianism is readily forgiven and even enjoyed by the hetero male populace) do it and they get spat on, beaten up, or worse...
Personally, public displays of affection is just to show off the fact they're too anxious to get a room or too insecure to do shopping by themselves... :D

1. I don't mind seeing gay men peck in public... |
|
same for anybody.
And just like anybody, I have a problem with people playing tonsil hockey and dry humping in public...straight or gay.
I don't care if a couple is kissing in public. Straight or gay.
Just...show some class and keep the heavy petting behind closed doors....we ain't teenagers anymore.

2. It depends on what you mean by "fondle" |
|
I have no objections to any couple kissing, hugging and showing general affections. I don't want to see hard core tonsillectomies and hands down pants and pretty much anything beyond 1st/2nd base in public. Be they hetero or gay/lesbian.

3. Definitely not the basic kiss... |
|
But patting each other on the butt, amongst other things, is crossing a line...
Especially if the couple is in a geek store such as CompUSA. That place is for singles only, dammit! Gte your hard drive off some other place!

4. Not if they are on an airplane |
|
There's a story floating around tonight about a couple facing 20 years in prison for doing that (and telling the stewardess to bugger off when she told them to stop).

5. Maybe they should have gone into the bathroom, ala tradition... |
|
I read the story. It's generally wise not to fuck around on planes these days; no pun intended...

Hetero or otherwise, any of it is bothersome. And not because I'm not an easy date... if I was partnered, married, dating, I wouldn't do more than holding hands and even then not so constantly because it's more fun to hold hands than to grocery shop or whatever...
Thanks, 'tis good to be back! :hi:
