Now she's suing Starbucks, claiming that their policy is to give children cooler hot beverages than they do adults, but that they didn't and her kid got scalded badly.

I'm sorry for the kid, but I don't let my mother (or anyone else) bring hot coffee into my car. I don't drink hot coffee in my car. Why? Because it's hot and it might scald me, not to mention mess up the seats and carpet, get the food wet, ruin something, cause an accident, rip a hole in time and space etc.....
