single folks, when you go out to a movie... |
|
Earlier in the day, late afternoon, early evening, or late show?
Okay, it's weird to think of conversing with 'potentials' in a theatre, but
1. At least I'm getting out 2. The other people there have at least one mutual interest 3. They may be hungry afterward 4. And the shocker option, they may head to their favorite intersection afterward :wow:

1. I go to the cinema to see a film not to hit on people |
|
That's what art galleries are for.

But when I did, I never went during the day. Personally, I feel it's blasphemy to sit in the dark during the day when you could be outside doing something active. I usually went for what was then the 9 o'clock show. Though movies aren't really meeting and greeting places unless there's a long queue. Though I noticed during the local film fest in Seattle, there was a lot of socializing amongst strangers. Different than usual. But I suspect most folk go to the cinema for the film. Or to escape everyone else. To be alone, though in a crowd.
