I was at a client's house last night- he and his wife wanted me to come over and watch a movie and evaluate their new HDTV and sound system.

They have five lap dogs of various breeds, and just before they started the movie they let the little drool machines inside. Since I had the long couch (along with the extra space that entails) to myself, I suddenly found myself being beaten to death with puppy tails as they tried to jump en masse into my lap. Owie!

I spent the next two hours with all five of 'em squirming and snuggling on and around me, all trying to get me to pet them at once. It was a challenge, but I believe I lived up to it adequately.

Not to mention that I had to explain the smell of five strange dogs on me to my cat when I got home. Sheesh, was she pissed... :rofl:
